Havana Nights was created with the spirit of bringing to Aalborg the heated atmosphere of salsa dancing I experienced in La Havana during my past stays. In Cuba, dancing salsa (or Casino as it is called over there) is broadly enjoyed by both young and less young people. It is part of their culture to enjoy music by dancing. When walking down the streets one can hear music coming from almost every single house and people dancing or singing. This aspect of their culture is  really enjoyable. One can go out any day of the week and expect to find a place to enjoy Cuban music and dance all night long.

Now this is possible in Aalborg thanks to Havana Nights. This project has been started in March 2010 and has been under progress since then. The club is now open every day for you to come and enjoy dancing in a very cosy atmosphere. I am proud to say that Havana Nights is the only dance (night)club in Aalborg entirely dedicated to latin dances. The goal is to promote social dance and help establish its roots within the Danish society.

Our team of teachers is composed of real social dancers who teach because they love dancing and want to share their passion of it. You will see them on the dance floor of any latin related event in Aalborg or around. They are part of the community in which they are visible and important actors. They practice what they preach! Between them they share more than 80 years of cumulated dance experience. Surely something you can rely on!
