Walk-in classes

A walk-in class is a class where you do not need registration to participate. You don't even need to bring a partner! All you need to do is show up in comfortable clothes and enjoy the class! You will get to change partner all the time which is an effective mean to increase your level rapidly. All walk-in classes take place from 19:30 to 21:30 why different several dance styles every day of the week... There are some variations but check the calendar to see what classes we are offering today. Here is how the typical week looks like:

On Mondays, you will have the opportunity to take Zouk classes with André from Brazil.

On Tuesdays, Selvin (Guatemala) & Sisse (DK) will guide you in the fascinating world of salsa L.A style. They will also initiate you to chachacha or merengue.

On Wednesdays, Rogerio (Brazil) will entertain you with his very popular classes of the very laid-back Forró.

On Thursdays, Malek (France) will help you learn cuban salsa. The style that started it all.

On Fridays, Malek will teach you Bachata, the sensual dance from the caribeans.

On Saturdays, Selvin & Sisse will teach you L.A style salsa as well as merengue or chachacha.

On Sundays, Ramón (Cuba) will teach Kizomba a dance close to zouk and Conga which is a group dance used during the carnival in Cuba.

Some weekends the club will be reserved for private parties so be sure to check the calendar.

Tuesdays from 17:00 - 18:00: Salsa L.A. beginners 2
Tuesdays from 18:15 - 19:15: Salsa L.A. intermediates 1

Thursdays from 17:00 - 18:00: Footwork/shines on1
Thursdays from 18:15 - 19:15: Cha Cha Cha

Every course lasts for 8 weeks

Beginners 2:
Students on this course are already familiar with the basic steps, right and left basic turn, change of place, cross body lead and the basics of merengue, bachata and cha cha cha. They are also familiar with the basic positions (of fx. hands)

Intermediates 1:
Participants on this course are already familiar with the above listed, and also cross body lead with in- and outside turn, various presentations/titanics, other turns (w. hook etc.) and bretzel. The participants already control variations of cross with turn and various "hand flips".

Intermediates 2:
Participants on intermediates 2 are already familiar with all the above listed, and also variations of "ventana", "salon step", diferent man- and lady styling. The parrticipants no longer need to do many basic steps in between combinations, which means that there should be a nice flow in the combinations, the participant's timing has improved, it's precise and "on the beat" and you are now able to dance a little bit faster.

Footwork/shines on1:
On this course we learn various shines (freestyle steps), that we can use when we are dancing to spice up our style and give it a little bit more flavour and variation. We learn steps like tap, Suzie Q, slide, redoble and diferent sequences that we can use as an inspiration to improvising. Doing footwork will help you train your skills in speed, precision and control, especially when dancing fast salsa.

Cha Cha Cha
On this course we dance on2. We recommend that you take this course if you want to improve your waist and hip movements and if you want to add another authentic, latin american dance to your repetoire.
